Objective: redesign Fiona Apple's 1996 debut album for its 25th anniversary. This new look aims to allude to the source material while still feeling modern. Luckily enough, the 90s and the Y2K era as a whole are on trend at the moment, allowing the indie vibes to flourish.
Apple's music has a whimsical yet moody vibe, so tones of purple and blue were used to accentuate. The use of color pencil to render the imagery came from the desire to highlight her off kilter sensibilities and the fact that the album is her "first try".
The backside, featuring a track list in the shape of a tidal wave.
